For us at FGMF, it is always a great pleasure to collaborate with Lider, our client and partner for more than ten years. The Olivo Sofa was conceived during a period of close collaboration between Lider and FGMF, marked by the opening of Lider’s new Campinas showroom and the expansion of its Gabriel Monteiro store, amid a vibrant exchange of ideas across multiple scales.
With the Olivo Sofa, we sought to highlight its peripheral supports through a graphic composition of wooden panels, which remain visible from the back as well, an especially interesting detail for layouts where the rear of the piece is exposed.
We envisioned upholstery that would be exceptionally comfortable and generous, creating a contrast with the peripheral wooden elements and lending a sense of lightness to the overall composition. The result is an elegant and comfortable sofa, suitable for a variety of settings, from a sophisticated living room arrangement to a more intimate lounge or home theater environment.
A generous upholstered volume rests upon elegant wooden legs, bringing visual lightness to the sofa’s form. Versatile by nature, it adapts seamlessly to refined living spaces while also serving as an ideal piece for family rooms or TV lounges.
